It is biblical that believers should be connected to “the body of Christ.“
- It benefits us....we can each use our gifts to benefit ourselves and others.
- It benefits other believers...they will be helped in practical ways and will feel a sense of belonging to the church.
- It benefits the church...providing a solid foundation for other ministries, encouraging fellowship and making newcomers feel welcome.
- It benefits God...His will is done and He is glorified.
Mission statement.
To establish connections with each other and with God through Jesus; uniting and building us up to maturity so that we can serve God, for His Glory.
In practice this involves a number of activities which so far have included sending cards and flowers, visiting people at home and organising quarterly coffee mornings for the members of the fellowship.
The connecting ministry vision is motivated by putting Christ first in all things.
Colossians 1:17 - "He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together
The connecting ministry team meets on Tuesdays at 7.30-8pm. If you would like to be involved please come along or speak to a member of the team in church on Sunday.
