Ezekiel 37:7 (NIV)

So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. 8 I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them.

9 Then he said to me, "Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Come, breath, from the four winds and breathe into these slain, that they may live.'" 10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army.

Home Ministries Connecting Ministry

It is biblical that believers should be connected to “the body of Christ.

  1. It benefits us....we can each use our gifts to benefit ourselves and others.
  2. It benefits other believers...they will be helped in practical ways and will feel a sense of belonging to the church.
  3. It benefits the church...providing a solid foundation for other ministries, encouraging fellowship and making newcomers feel welcome.
  4. It benefits God...His will is done and He is glorified.

Mission statement.

To establish connections with each other and with God through Jesus; uniting and building us up to maturity so that we can serve God, for His Glory.

In practice this involves a number of activities which so far have included sending cards and flowers, visiting people at home and organising quarterly coffee mornings for the members of the fellowship.

The connecting ministry vision is motivated by putting Christ first in all things.

Colossians 1:17 - "He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together

The connecting ministry team meets on Tuesdays at 7.30-8pm. If you would like to be involved please come along or speak to a member of the team in church on Sunday.
