About Us. Who are we?
The Ebenezer Independent Methodist Church.
We are a warm, family orientated and friendly Bible believing community of believers. Our fellowship is united by Christ in the belief that the Bible in its original text is the infallible Word of God.
We believe Christ should be at the centre of all Bible-based teaching and any evangelistic outreach in the church; we believe also in the equality and Priesthood of all believers.
We are a group of ordinary people from all kinds of backgrounds and have one thing in common – our lives have been changed by the Christian message. This church exists to glorify God, edify believers and multiply disciples of Jesus Christ. Our vision is ‘Christ in the community, caring for and compassionate towards all people’.

- Compassion – For all, regardless of age, race, colour, creed or lifestyle.
We are part of The Independent Methodist Connexion (IMC) of 80 churches which are situated mainly in the North of England.
We are self-governing, but the Connexion Ministry acts as a spiritual and collective focal point. We believe denomination should never be a barrier to our unity in Christ Jesus.
We have very close links to Churches in the same road, St Marks Anglican and Christchurch URC, as well as the IMC(Connexion.) Working together with these Churches with joint services, workshops in our schools and on the streets as Street Pastors, to the glory of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
